Residential: Project E
This large, whole house custom installation project located near London, was undertaken for a prominent premiership footballer.
Included are full audio and video distribution, lighting control, room to room intercom, whole house paging, gate access and CCTV control.
Audio and Video Distribution
Audio distribution is provided throughout the whole residence allowing the client to listen to a single musical source in one, many, or all areas or different sources to be playing in different areas simultaneously. Flush mounted ceiling speakers are fitted in many of the rooms for this purpose. Sources include satellite programming, radio and a hard drive CD server. Likewise the video distribution system allows the viewing of any video source in any room which benefits from one of the many display screens which are installed throughout the property. Sources include a hard drive DVD server, satellite programming and feeds from multiple CCTV cameras.
Control System
Most of the rooms including the bedrooms contain in-wall touchscreens to control the above sources, the room lighting, display live CCTV footage, provide room to room intercom and control gate access. Alternatively, any room may be controlled by the communal wireless touchscreen.
Rooms
The master bedroom includes a 52” high definition LCD screen and surround sound, provided by 5 ceiling speakers and a sub-bass. Sources can be controlled by either the in-wall touchscreen or communal wireless touchscreen.
The living room also includes a 52” high definition LCD screen; audio is be handled by 5 very high quality floor-standing speakers and sub-bass. Sources can be controlled by either the in-wall touchscreen or communal wireless touchscreen.
A Theatre/Games/Media room also contains surround sound speakers and sub-bass, the video being handled by a 50” high definition plasma screen. Sources are controlled by either the in-wall touchscreen or communal wireless touchscreen.
A wet room, kitchen and guest bedrooms are fitted with 40” high definition LCD screens, flush mounted ceiling speakers, in-wall touch screen and in the case of the wet room a waterproof wireless remote.
