Chief technical architect on all projects, Tony has a wealth of knowledge and experience pulled together from 20 years in the technology industry.
Working for numerous blue chip organisations within the Insurance and Financial sector, Tony mastered many technological disciplines including software design and voice and data engineering. He was well respected in the city and ended his full time employment career as Engineering VP for a very large US bank developing voice and data architectures that would define strategic technological decisions going forward. Tony eventually moved on to set up T&T. Tony has wide breadth of technical know how that covers communications, audio and visual technologies and control and automation solutions, all supported by proven business knowledge. He has successfully run a privately owned company for the past 11 years.

Daniel Tumata - Design Manager - UK
After gaining a BEngTech at Massey University in New Zealand, Daniel started a part time job as a Sky installer. This led to a job as a contract installer for one of New Zealand’s biggest AV retailers, Harvey Normans. After moving to England in 2005, Daniel joined T&T as an Installation Engineer. He has since taken advantage of T&T’s "ongoing education" policy including achieving Cedia installer levels 1&2 and Cedia designer level 1. He is also currently studying for the ISF video calibration certification. Daniel is responsible for the engineering team and all aspects of project installation and has also been moving towards a system design role in an effort to understand the entire process from system conception to completion.> Download Key Personnel Business Card

Kelly Ashforth - Designer - UK
Kelly has had an interest in Art and Design from a young age, particularly Interior Design. She studied Art and Design/Graphic Design at college and then went on to study and gain a National Diploma in Interior Design. In September 2005 Kelly joined T&T Communications to take on the role of Technical Administrator where she is responsible for the technical drawing and documentation of each project. Using skills in D-Tools, AutoCAD and 3DsMax she is able to produce schematic drawings, documentation, technical drawings of hidden aspects of the design and 3d models and animations to present to the client to help visualise the final design prior to installation.> Download Key Personnel Business Card

Tony Lawrence - Installation Manager- UK
Tony joined T&T in August 2007 to manage the engineering and installation team. He brought with him a wide variety of experience gained from previous employment ranging from listed building restoration to working in the security industry. Having worked his way up from trainee level to senior engineer in the industry, Tony gained enough experience to go freelance and spent the next several years designing, installing and commissioning integrated electronic security and home automation systems for companies all over South East England. Rowan Clarke - Installation Technician - UK
After gaining a BSc in Music Technology and Audio System Design, Rowan went on to spend 2 years as a team leader installing plasma and LCD TV in domestic and commercial environments. He then spent 3 years at Quadrant Visual Solutions working as an installer and team leader in the educational, medical and corporate sectors.Rowan has undergone training in both AMX and Crestron systems and now brings his audio visual experience to working as an installation engineer for T&T with a view to specialising in audio and video system calibration, undertaking HAA and ISF training. > Download Key Personnel Business Card

Daniel Shinners - Installation Technician - UK
Daniel brings a fresh approach and a wealth of enthusiasm to the T&T team. He has proven himself a valuable member of the T&T team, learning rapidly and grasping ideas and concepts quickly. Daniel has found the transition into "smart homes" an interesting undertaking and looks forward to the opportunity to watch, and learn, as the new technologies develop. Daniel’s roles include cable routing, cable termination, and rack builds. Chris Andrew - Software Development Manager - CA
Chris Andrew is currently one of the most highly certified Crestron programmers in North America. He holds 2 certificates of Masters invitation only courses at Crestron HQ in New Jersey. Chris has been working on residential projects in British Columbia, Manitoba, Arizona, Montana and now in the UK. While he has written systems for post secondary institutions in North America and Fortune 500 companies in the USA , Chris’s resume consists almost exclusively of very large residential whole home integration projects. Chris has experience with every component sold by Crestron and has integrated extremely complex audio video distribution systems combined with lighting, security, HVAC, video entry phones and CCTV.

Bart Podkowka - Programmer - UK
Born in Poland, Bart moved to the UK in 1998 to progress his IT career before getting involved in high end AV system programming in 2000. Prior to joining T&T Communications in August 2006, he has worked for other key players in the industry. His embedded systems design background has proved invaluable in the Custom Design and Installation business. Bart joins T&T with a wealth of invaluable experience in programming automation systems for commercial and residential markets and is a Crestron certified programmer. Peter has been working in the technology industry for 6 years. Before moving to T&T Communications in February 2004, he worked at GMLNT Ltd as a technical specialist in PC, Server, Host and communications disciplines. Peter also has a radio and electronics background, which has proved invaluable in the Custom Design and Installation business. Mike Benton - Multi Media Designer - UK
Mike has worked in web and graphic design for the past four years, previously working as an artist. Moving from painting to becoming a self employed web and graphic designer, he then joined Colchester IT company Jamie Plc as a graphic designer in April 2005. In April 2006 Mike joined T&T Communications to take on the design of the new website, intranet and touch panel user interfaces.
